JOHANNESBURG - The clock is counting down to Friday when lawmakers will sit in the parliament.
Last week the ANC said it was looking to form a government of national unity after it lost its majority for the first time in an election.
Without an agreement the ANC that is sitting at 40-percent of parliament cannot govern on its own or even ensure its candidates are elected.
The first sitting of parliament is scheduled for Friday when new lawmakers will be sworn in and a speaker and deputy speaker and the President are to be elected.
The DA spokesperson, Solly Malatsi discussed the party's preferred partners with eNCA.
