CAPE TOWN - The V&A Waterfront is going green.
It aims to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2035.
It's signed a 10-year deal to generate 70 percent of its power needs from wind and solar farms.
Managers say the precinct, which receives around 24 million visitors annually, has already cut back on carbon emissions by 47 percent.
