Former IEC Commissioner hopes Commission doesn't get derailed by Zuma case

JOHANNESBURG - The Constitutional Court has ruled Former President Jacob Zuma is not eligible to run for Parliament.

It overturned the Electoral Court's order that allowed Zuma to contest for a seat in the National Assembly.

The court says according to the Constitution, Zuma will only be eligible 5 years after completing his sentence.
