JOHANNESBURG - The Save South Africa Civic Movement is accusing government of failing to protect its own citizens.

The movement says the government of national unity is continuing to allow foreign nationals to trade in the country and put lives at risk by selling counterfeit goods.

In Soweto, five children have died after allegedly consuming snacks purchased from foreign-owned spaza shops.
