JOHANNESBURG - The family of imprisoned Jermaine Prim are criticising his treatment behind bars.

He's been in prison for eight years after being charged with fraud and vehicle theft but after all these years, he is still awaiting trial.

He was moved to CMAX after allegedly calling individuals including Patriotic Alliance members to threaten them.

His family say this is a miscarriage of justice.

Bridgette and Lloyd Prim joined eNCA to discuss this issue.
