JOHANNESBURG - OUTA is celebrating that e-tolls have finally been driven off the road.
It's been at the forefront of the fight against the controversial system.
But government says motorists are still liable for the historic debt.
Transport Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga stopped short of saying how it will be recouped.
But, Premier Panyaza Lesufi says it will be done through consultations.
