JOHANNESBURG - Two SA soldiers have died in a mortar attack in the DRC, 20 others are wounded.
According to the SANDF, the incident happened when M23 rebels attacked their base in the town of Sake in the eastern province of North Kivu.
This is the fourth incident in five months. The SANDF is part of a SADC force fighting M23 rebels. The force has been criticised for lack of equipment and support.
But is SA ready to fight in the middle of Rwanda and the DRC?
Sipho Mantula, a researcher at the Thabo Mbeki African School on Public and International Affairs at Unisa spoke to eNCA.
