CAPE TOWN - Freedom Under Law wants the Western Cape High Court to review John Hlophe's appointment to the JSC.
The former judge President was removed from his position in February this year after he was impeached.
After Hlophe was sworn in as an MP for the MK party he was appointed to represent his party at the JSC.
Freedom under Law wants the court to set aside his appointment, saying it's unlawful and unconstitutional.
Constitutional law expert, Pierre de Vos had a discussion with eNCA's Dan Moyane.
