JOHANNESBURG - Former President Jacob Zuma will know next month why Judge Nkosinathi Chili dismissed his second bid to remove prosecutor Billy Downer from his corruption trial.
Judge Chili says he’ll reconsider his initial decision to give reasons at the end of the trial.
He'll now do so on 11 September.
The state wants the trial to continue next year, but Zuma’s team says not so fast.
It alleges bias by Downer and says he won't afford Zuma a fair trial.
This has been dismissed by both Downer and the state as yet another delaying tactic.
One of the arms deal activists and retired banker, Terry Crawford-Browne discussed this with eNCA.
