EMPANGENI, KZN - The high crime rate in KwaZulu-Natal has forced the provincial government and the police to come together and host a summit on the matter.
The summit convened yesterday to find solutions to battle the scourge.
There's been concerns over the murder of politicians, traditional leaders and criminals tormenting communities in recent years.
Dr Mandisa Makhaye from the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Zululand attended the summit, she spoke to eNCA.
