JOHANNESBURG - Four provinces account for 73-percent of extortion crimes, namely KwaZulu Natal, Eastern Cape, Gauteng and Western Cape.
And Police Minister Senzo Mchunu this week told the National Assembly they are working with provinces and municipalities to combat the crimes.
