JOHANNESBURG - South Africans continue to face violent crimes everyday.
Almost 70 people are killed and over a hundred rapes are reported daily.
Police Minister Bheki Cele released the crime stats for the period between July and September.

He announced a slight decrease in the murder rate compared to the April/June period.
Criminologist Guy Lamb said there is a lot of information about what contributes to crime victimisation and what contributes to crime perpetration.
