Concerns over cost of new anti-HIV jab

JOHANNESBURG - Scientists have rolled out a new HIV prevention injection which has been registered for use in South Africa. 

The jab is widely seen as a ground-breaking move to prevent the development of HIV.

Concerns have been raised however, about the asking price for the jab. At over R50 thousand per shot it's highly inaccessible for vulnerable communities.
