Government of National Unity | Can the ANC and DA anchor a stable administration?

JOHANNESBURG - As political parties race against time to form a new government, Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has announced the date for the first sitting of the National Assembly.

On Friday, the election of the Speaker will set in motion a process to choose the country's next President.

The ANC has been holding a series of meetings with other political parties in an effort to put together a Government of National Unity.

But how will this inclusive administration work, especially after the EFF and MK Party rejected invitations to join?

Political analyst Mpumelelo Mkhabela, who has written about the possible ANC and DA coalition and whether both parties could anchor a stable government, speaks to eNCA.
