Discussion | SA has entered unchartered coalitions territory

JOHANNESBURG - As political parties race against time to form the 7th administration following the elections, there are growing calls for the country's politicians to prioritise the needs of citizens in their negotiations.

The polls didn't produce an outright winner, with the ANC getting just over 40% of the vote. 

On Thursday, we're taking the discussion away from the politicians and their negotiations and rather hear from civil society organisations.

Wayne Duvenage, from Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse, Dr Rekgotsofetse Chikane, National Committee Member at Defend our Democracy, Melusi Ncala, acting lead co-ordinator for stakeholder relations at Corruption Watch and Neeshan Balton, executive director at the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation, spoke to eNCA.
