JOHANNESBURG - Gender parity remains a challenge in the South African landscape as women are still under-represented in decision-making.

The Independent Electoral Commission recently held a Thought Leadership Seminar discussing gender parity in politics.

The theme was Women Representation in the South African Political Landscape: Gains and Losses.

Associate Professor at the University of Johannesburg, Dikeledi Mokoena, was one of the panellists in the seminar.
