JOHANNESBURG - The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial resumes on Monday.
WATCH | Officer Zungu continues to face tough questions at Meyiwa murder trial
Last week, the defence asked for more time to go over a statement from another cellphone expert who was meant to take the stand.
During the week's proceedings defence lawyer, Zandile Mshololo also asked for the cross examination of state witness Constable Sizwe Zungu to stand down until then.
Last month, Zungu gave damning evidence implicating all five accused in the murder of the Bafana Bafana captain placing them at a hostel in Vosloorus on the night in question.
Accused 5, Fisokuhle Ntuli, has again refuted his claims.
Zungu's cross examination was forced to stand down, after Mshololo asked for more time to view photos from a memory stick.
The state's next witness couldn't take the stand either.
The case resumes on Monday, with Zungu's cross examination expected to be finalised.
