JOHANNESBURG - The Jacob G Zuma Foundation has slammed a High Court ruling ordering the former president to repay millions in legal fees.
It says the judgment is unjust and contradictory, finding that the State acted unlawfully, yet still held Zuma personally liable.
The Foundation argues the former president didn't benefit from the State's actions and may pursue a damages claim for what it calls ongoing financial and personal harm.
It’s also raised concerns about what it describes as a decline in judicial reasoning and fairness in courts.
