HARARE - Tensions are rising in Zimbabwe as election day nears.
The opposition is accusing President Mnangagwa of abusing the courts to eliminate competition.
Citizens Coalition for Change leader, Nelson Chamisa, was speaking to thousands of supporters at a rally.
He says Mnangagwa is behind the disqualification of 12 Parliamentary candidates in Bulawayo and of South Africa-based presidential candidate, Saviour Kasukuwere.
Chamisa told supporters that if the President continues to bar candidates, there will be no elections.
Chamisa and Mnangagwa are the main contenders for the presidency come the elections on the 23rd of August.
