Zelensky urges West to deliver more air defence systems

KYIV - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is urging the West to deliver more air defence systems.

This after a wave of Russian missile, drone and artillery strikes killed at least ten people.

Kyiv says it's heavily outgunned and outnumbered and is facing ammunition shortages amid aid delays.

Russian forces are advancing westward and have seized several small villages in recent days.

The call comes as Moscow published hacked audio recordings of a German military meeting.

In it, they discuss supplying Ukraine with long-range missiles to hit targets inside Russia.

They also discussed attacks on the Kerch Bridge linking Crimea to Russia.

That bridge was taken out on 17 July last year.
