CAPE TOWN - Accused Parliament arsonist, Zandile Mafe, has again refused to leave the Pollsmoor Correctional Service Facility.
Mafe was due to attend his pre-trial proceedings on Friday but was a no show.
It has been more than a year since a fire ravaged Parliament in Cape Town.
Mafe was arrested in January last year and has made several court appearances.
He was also sent to a psychiatric institution for a short period and was later released.
The state says its ready, but Mafe's lawyers want to apply for him to be evaluated to see if he's fit to stand trial.
