DURBAN - The fraud and corruption trial of former eThekwini mayor Zandile Gumede and 21 co-accused is underway at the High Court in Durban.
Second witness Shawn Hittler is still on the stand.
He is said to be the person who first processed the anonymous information allegedly handed over to the municipality’s investigation unit in 2018.
Gumede and her 21 co-accused face a string of charges relating to the awarding of a Durban Solid Waste tender worth over R300-million.
