More than 55-percent of those surveyed watch porn on a regular basis via their mobile phones or on tablets using free wi-fi at school.

Basic Education spokesperson, Elijah Mhlanga says we need to start by changing mindsets and behaviours.

He said, "we start by fixing the mind, it's all in the mind so we need to change behaviour. What we've tried to do teach about the dangers of pornography in the Life Orientation and Life Skills subject at school."

"When we were talking about comprehensive sex education, people focused on sex and sexuality and forgot we are actually talking about the dangers of pornography in there."

"From the school point of view we talk to children of the dangers of accessing inappropriate material."
