PRETORIA - As Women’s Month draws to a close, the many women in the South African National Defence Force were celebrated and acknowledged for the hard work they undertake for the country.
A total of 30 percent of SANDF members are women and the Defence Minister Angie Motshekga says these numbers need to increase.
Motshekga says there are concerted efforts to make sure there is a 50-50 representation in the defence force and more work will be done to encourage young women to serve their country.
