EAST LONDON - Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane admits that economic opportunities for women, especially from rural communities, are still few and far between in the province.
He was speaking at a Women's Day celebration in Centane where hundreds of women marked the occasion.
Mabuyane has promised that the fortunes of those who have been working tirelessly to grow their businesses will change.
But some women say they will believe it when they see government's promises come to fruition.
They hope that their messages will bring renewed hope to the millions of women in South Africa who have been suffering.
