JOHANNESBURG - The defence in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial has accused Tumelo Madlala of being drunk on the day the soccer star was killed and using his best friend's death for a quick pay cheque.
Madlala was in the house when Meyiwa was shot.

He also featured in a Netflix documentary about Meyiwa's murder and admits he was paid, but refuses to reveal how much.
Meanwhile, Chicco Twala visited the Meyiwa family over the weekend.
His son Longwe was also in the house on the fateful evening.
