Will the long-running Meyiwa murder trial start afresh with a new judge?

JOHANNESBURG - It's the stuff of nightmares for Senzo Meyiwa's family.

The possibility that the former Bafana Bafana captain's murder trial could start all over again.

Judge Tshifiwa Maumela, who has been presiding over the case, has now been suspended, for being tardy with his other judgments and if a new judge is assigned to the trial, witnesses who have already testified, could be recalled.

Legal experts agree that those witnesses would be required to go through their testimony, all over again.
