MALMESBURY, WESTERN CAPE - Mother Nature wreaked havoc in several parts of the Western Cape in December.
While many enjoyed fun in the sun, emergency services have had to put out nearly 4-thousand wildfires. The province says putting out these fires has cost them almost 16 million-rands.

Environmental Affairs MEC, Anton Bredell spoke to the eNCA to talk more on the damage the blazing fires left behind and the initiatives taken to keep these blazes to a minimum.
