JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg Water says its systems have improved post the Rand Water maintenance, but some are still recovering.
This under-recovery means that some areas will continue to experience disrupted water supply as the systems continue to stabilise.
Systems where pumps are running but are still experiencing disruptions include Hursthill, Crosby, Brixton, Randburg, Roodepoort and Soweto.
Meanwhile, Orange Farm reservoirs are low to empty but officials have implemented daily interventions to mitigate against the lack of water.
Joburg Water says it is monitoring the Lenasia reservoirs as water levels remain critically low.
