JOHANNESBURG - Recently, several high-profile cases have been withdrawn or dismissed.
Just this week, the South Gauteng Director of Public Prosecutions, decided to drop the corruption charges against former ANC spokesperson and Sports Minister Zizi Kodwa and his co-accused.
The former minister was implicated in an almost R1.7-million bribery claim.
However, the office of the National Prosecuting Authority is set to review the decision.
What are the hurdles impacting these cases and which ones can be re-enrolled?
Advocate Andrea Johnson, Head of Investigating Directorate Against Corruption, discussed this with eNCA.
