CAPE TOWN - The Western Cape government is forging ahead with plans to mitigate power cuts in 2023.
The province has already installed numerous solar panels to harness the power of green energy.
Saldanha Bay, Stellenbosch, George, and the City of Cape Town are already using Independent Power Producers to reduce their reliance on Eskom.
Premier Alan Winde says the province’s growing population is straining services but reassures residents they’re working on ending power cuts.
