JOHANNESBURG - When he was re-elected DA leader, John Steenhuisen immediately announced plans for a "moonshot pact".

He went on to target what he calls, like-minded opposition parties and his sole mission is to unseat the ANC in next year's elections.

Steenhuisen is providing an update on how negotiations to form the pact have been progressing.
