MFULENI - The annual 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children campaign, comes to an end on Tuesday.
But some activists say despite the awareness around this time of the year, they're not seeing a decrease in violence during this period.

He stands accused of two counts of rape.
It’s alleged he raped a 26-year-old detainee at the Mfuleni police station, in the early hours of the morning on 29 November.
Mbane’s lawyer Ashton Gravenhorst said he will argue that his client did not commit a schedule six offence, but rather a schedule five.
This will be done during the bail application on 17 December.
