JOHANNESBURG - Civil Rights group Black Sash has welcomed the extension of the R350 social relief of distress grant.
Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana made the announcement while delivering his Mid-term Budget in Cape Town.
The grant will be extended by another year to March 2024.
The minister has cautioned it’s a game of trade-offs, and he is still mulling over whether he can increase other social grants.
