WATCH: SAPS prepared for national shutdown

PRETORIA - Law enforcement authorities are working with various stakeholders in preparation for Monday's shutdown spearheaded by the EFF.

The National Joint Operational and Intelligence Structure has given updates on safety and security ahead of the protest.

The EFF has threatened to bring the country's economy to a standstill on Monday, calling for an end to power cuts and for Cyril Ramaphosa to resign as president.
