WATCH: Safe driving in icy conditions

JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg transformed into a winter wonderland on Monday morning, for a few hours.

Snow fell for the first time in years because of the cold conditions.

Automobile Association spokesperson Layton Beard gave motorists some safety tips on driving through snowy conditions.

The South African Weather Service says the snowfall in Joburg and surrounding areas was unexpected, but they're not ruling out more.
