WATCH | SA, UAE extradition task team formed

JOHANNESBURG - Plans to extradite the Gupta brothers from the United Arab Emirates are gaining momentum.

Justice and Correctional Services Minister, Ronald  Lamola, met with his UAE counterpart Abdullah Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi in Abu Dhabi earlier this week.

The meeting was aimed at discussing extradition matters and enhancing existing partnerships in mutual legal assistance.

A specialised task team of prosecutors from both countries has been formed to discuss the extradition of the Gupta brothers.
