WATCH | Ramaphosa responds to questions at National Assembly

JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to answer questions in the National Assembly on Thursday.

The President's central focus, among many other issues, will be on the crippling power cuts, and higher stages of blackouts.

So far this year, South Africans have experienced power cuts more than they did in 2022.

Other questions to the president will be around government's efforts to fight illicit money flows, terror financing and money laundering.

Global financial crime watchdog, the Financial Action Task Force, greylisted South Africa in February.

Ramaphosa will also give an update on efforts to combat corruption at embattled power utility Eskom.

He will detail the progress regarding the country’s Just Energy Transition Investment Plan.
