WATCH | President hands AmaZulu King certificate of recognition

DURBAN - President Cyril Ramaphosa has formally handed over the certificate of recognition to King MisuZulu KaZwelithini as leader of the Zulu nation.

Almost 50,000 people gathered to witness this momentous occasion at the Moses Mabhida stadium.

President Cyril Ramaphosa says the burden of leadership is a heavy responsibility, but also an illustrious one.

He was addressing the nation, moments before he handed over a certificate of recognition to the AmaZulu King.

Ramaphosa has urged the King to work hard to eliminate poverty and social ills that are plaguing communities.
