JOHANNESBURG - The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union says it's had it with the Correctional Services Department.
It says the Department is refusing to address issues affecting workers.
These include current safety policies, shift work and the need to hire more people to ease the pressure at overcrowded facilities.
Meanwhile, Justice minister Ronald Lamola agrees the concerns are valid and says the Department will work with the union to address them.
