WATCH | No lights at the end of the tunnel for Cosmo City

JOHANNESBURG - Never mind frequent rolling blackouts. Cosmo City residents say that since June last year, they have had power for only an hour a day and sometimes they're subjected to three-day-long outages.

The City of Johannesburg says this is because of ailing infrastructure and mushrooming informal settlements.

It warns that keeping the lights on may take time.
