JOHANNESBURG - Independent Chairperson of the National Convention, Professor William Gumede has announced that the name for the moonshot pact will now be the Multi-Party Charter for South Africa.
He made the announcement at the national convention in Kempton Park, where opposition leaders are gathering.
Gumede has also indicated that determining a name for the pact was a big obstacle.
Gumede says now that a vision has been established, it will be easier to have conversations with parties outside of the pact.
