The suspended Public Protector's legal representative, Advocate, Dali Mpofu, is expected to cross-examine the legal services manager in the Office, Neels van der Merwe.

Mpofu will question him on his testimony about the R147-million legal bill.

On Wednesday, Mpofu told the committee Mkhwebane's recusal challenge is set down on the urgent roll of the Western Cape High Court for mid-December.
