WATCH | Lilian Ngoyi Street closed, Joburg residents advised to use alternative routes

JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg residents are advised to use alternative routes as Lilian Ngoyi Street remains closed following the explosion in the Johannesburg CBD.

One person has been killed and 48 others injured.

Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi says institutions that deal with gas, electricity and water in the City of Joburg are being brought forward to assist in finding the cause of the incident.
