JOHANNESBURG - Workers affiliated with the National Education, Health and Allied Workers' Union insist they have the right to strike despite the critical healthcare they provide.

It's day four of the union's national strike, and patients still bear the brunt of protests.

Workers are demanding a 10% wage hike and housing allowance.

But, the government prepared to raise wages by 4.7%.
