JOHANNESBURG - High water demand in the City of Johannesburg is throttling the water network.
Johannesburg Water says its system is severely strained.
Customers are urgently requested to lower usage and assist with sustaining already challenged systems.
Areas severely impacted include those serviced by Commando, Soweto and the central water systems.
In a statement earlier, Joburg Water says you can expect to have low pressure or no water during this period.
