INANDA - Almost R400 million has been invested to install CCTV cameras in crime-ridden KZN communities including Inanda, Ntuzuma and KwaMashu.
This forms part of the initiatives KZN police are embarking on to respond to the violent crime in these areas.
In Inanda alone, seven people have been shot and killed in only three days.
Alarmingly, in one of the incidents an 18-year-old boy was killed after being accused of photographing a mob that was hunting for suspects.
eNCA’s Nkosikhona Malinga-Mnisi files the story.
