JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng clinics have been flagged for the unwelcoming behaviour of their staff, and long delays in attending to patients. According to a report by Ritshidze , a community led monitoring system, patients are being shouted at and people are now scared to visit some of the clinics.

The report has also found that people living with HIV are mostly targeted and often sent to the back of the queue, if they are late for an appointment. The report is calling for an urgent action and reform as this failings in the health system contribute to slow progress towards getting patients on treatment.
