WATCH | eThekwini prioritises fixing leaks to reduce usage

 

DURBAN - The eThekwini Municipality says the curtailment measures to stop the over-usage of water are starting to show positive results.

But the municipality warns that those who fail to conserve water may be prioritised for restrictions.

Umngeni-uThukela Water, the bulk water supplier for Durban, began reducing water on October 10 to comply with its water use license.

Efforts to fix damaged pipelines have improved water supply for some residents there are still concerns about intermittent supply.
