JOHANNESBURG - The Eastern Cape Liquor Board is calling on communities to rally behind its call to ban end-of-school term parties.
The board has launched the Anti Pen's Down Campaign.
It is targeted at schools in Mthatha and other cities in the Eastern Cape.
This follows two disturbing videos that went viral.
In one video, pupils are seen celebrating in a drunk state.
The board's spokesperson Mgwebi Msiya says they don't want a repeat of the Enyobeni tragedy.
